Every composition is built slowly by hand, one extruded point of acrylic at a time.

Artist

Zechariah

I work primarily with acrylic paint on canvas, using a holder tipped needle applicator to create intricate hand-painted motifs through a stippling technique. Each composition is entirely hand-painted in acrylic, built dot by dot and line by line through a slow and meticulous process of extruding the acrylic paint through a hollow needle.

Much of my work is monochromatic, allowing texture, detail, and contrast to take center stage while creating a quiet sense of depth and nostalgia. I am drawn to whimsical imagery and themes that evoke memory, curiosity, and playfulness.

My process is both meditative and intentional, transforming simple forms into highly detailed compositions through patience, repetition, and controlled mark-making.

When working in color, I will often only use a splash of color to accentuate bold illustrations with graphic contrast. These pieces embrace a more vibrant and energetic visual language while still maintaining the stylized character and sense of nostalgia that connects all my work.

Through both monochromatic and color-driven pieces, I aim to create artwork that feels imaginative, familiar, and emotionally engaging.
